Brain Age has the elderly's self-improvement needs covered, but what about the elderly of tomorrow? Announced today for the Nintendo DS, Aspyr Media and Kaplan Inc. are teaming up to take aspiring college students noses out of the books and cram them between the DS' two screens with an SAT prep game.
The character in the above mock-up will be your guide through the apparently green and swirly world of learning. It will both guide you and cheer you on while evolving and changing based on your accomplishments. With the help of this RPG-tinge, the SAT prep game might just make edutainment palatable in way unseen since Brain Age.
The game is still mostly under wraps, but expect more details (like an actual title) in the coming weeks.

Editor's Take: This confluence of "nerdy" activities (studying and gaming) seems natural, and I'm somewhat surprised we didn't see something like this sooner. The potential is definitely there with character customization and a unique art style. If nothing else, I know I would've loved to have something like this when I was burying myself in SAT study materials.
