Remember late last week, when we said that Nintendo managed to put a halt to Flash cards on the DSi?
Yeah, well... nevermind.
Maybe it's just like trying to build a house out of crackers. No matter how you do it, it's still just crackers, and wouldn't take long to get through anyway. In which case, is there any real point in wasting the money trying?
Yeah, well... nevermind.
Yasu of YSMenu fame already has managed to run homebrew code on the handheld, a mere three days after its release in Japan. Above is a video clip of him running a simple application, which displays the text "Hello World" in a floating box across the screen. Specifics on how this feat was achieved are sketchy at the moment, but the author does make mention of potentially developing a PSP-esque custom firmware on his blog. -- eXophaseI imagine whatever guys like Nintendo or Sony are paying for people to come up with protection isn't cheap. So why can't anyone come up with something that can last more than a few days?
