Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars Info - 120 Minutes of Cutscenes and More
January 12, 2009 | 3:06 PM PST
According to a recent filing by the British Board of Film Classification, Rockstar's Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars for the Nintendo DS not only has cutscenes, but plenty of them -- about two hours' worth, in fact.
Note that since February 2001 the BBFC has measured each component separately, but older works may not have the exact details, only a list of titles.
n/a GRAND THEFT AUTO: CHINATOWN WARS
02:00:00:00 SUPPLEMENTARY CUTSCENES (APPROX)
00:48:00:00 SUPPLEMENTARY GAMEPLAY FOOTAGE (APPROX) -- BBFC
And if you'll notice, there's also the extra 48 minutes of "supplementary gameplay footage," whatever that means.
Further details have come from the German gaming magazine N-Zone:
- Multiplayermodes online and offline
- Item-exchange and Stats via Inet + Rockstar Games Social Club Support ( Archievments)
- Chat-function
- Day/Night Circle, different weather effects like rain...
- you will be able to pick already played story-missions,mini-games ( police/taxi/firefighters) and sidequest from your hideout (perfect for a handheld game) to play them again and get a better mission rating ( bronze silver, gold for every mission )
- awesome graphics for ds, the city with his citizen feels very much alive
- controls works perfect.... -- N-Zone via NeoGAF
I wonder how the multiplayer modes will work out. Sounds like they're putting plenty of interesting things into it, though.
