New Pokemon HeartGold/SoulSilver Info Approaches

Siliconera has managed to procure the latest edition of CoroCoro Magazine, which contains all sorts of juicy details regarding the recently-announced Pokemon HeartGold and SoulSilver remakes.
First up, the male trainer seems to retain the same general look, while the female trainer has received a bit of an overhaul... and dresses sort of like a female Mario now. Naturally, the one you pick leads to the other being used in a support role, much like in Diamond/Pearl/Platinum.
Pokegear has been redesigned, and there appears to be a crossover or promotion going into effect with the latest Pokemon movie (Lord... how many are there now? I remember when the first was a huge bloody deal) called "Arceus - Toward the Overcome's Time Space!" Some Pokemon from the movie, "a Pikachu-coloured Pichu and a notch-eared Pichu," will be available to those who preorder the game starting on July 20th-- the same day the movie comes out.
What's more, these two critters will trigger an in-game event at the same point in the game where Celebi was discovered in Pokemon Crystal.
You also get access to a special Arceus, which allows you to access a neat little pokémon history lesson about Arceus and Sinnoh in Pokémon Platinum by transferring it over to the game. You can read more about this here if you're interested (spoilers abound).
What is also cool is that it seems that your Pokemon, or at least your starter Pokemon, can follow you around through the game-- much like Pikachu does in Pokemon Yellow, I would imagine.
You can see more of the scans and other little tidbits here.
