The Phantasy Star is on its way to the Nintendo DS with Phantasy Star Zero, and we're helping pave the way to its welcome with 55, count 'em, 55 new images that have been added to our gallery.

In addition, a couple of informative tidbits were posted regarding the screenshots above. The first says "This Paul Bunyan cosplayer sells items at the local wagon. As you can see, percentages also make their triumphant return from Phantasy Star Online, including the monster types (save for a slight change from 'A.Beast' to simply 'Beast')."

The note on the second picture says "If you rock a shield in PSZ, you can fight both offensively and have a chance to guard - as shown above. Some weapon abilities will increase your chance to guard immensely when charged and used."

And finally, a note about newmans (...newman...) says: "In the old days of Phantasy Star, newmans weren't just wimpy healers that stood in the back and used magic all the time. PSZ revisits this slightly, with the new addition of the HUnewm class for all you melee-loving newmans out there."
